Vietnam tourism businesses attend FHA 2012
Vietnam will send 29 tourism businesses to attend the Food & Hotel Asia 2012 (FHA2012) and Wine & Spirits Asia 2012 (WSA2012) in Singapore from April 17-20.
FHA is Asia's largest, most established and comprehensive international trade event for the food and hospitality industry, with 2,600 suppliers from 65 nations and territories. FHA encompasses 5 specialised events namely: food Asia, hotel Asia, bakery & pastry, hospitality style Asia, and hospitality technology.
The tourism and hotel sector is developing fast in Vietnam. The Expo is a good opportunity for Vietnamese traders and importers to learn more about types of commodities, brand names and penetrate foreign markets. Moreover, the Expo is also an opportunity for world leading hotel and supermarket groups aiming to expand their market in Vietnam seek Vietnamese partners.
In the framework of the expo, various sideline programs will be also organized such as free workshops for customers and businesses to discuss and exchange about food safety, hospitality technology, and business management skill in order to create a useful forum for businesses, cooks and hotels to collect information, share experiences and develop and expand the market.
FHA was first organized in 1978 and it is held every two years. In 2010, 20 Vietnamese businesses and more than 1,000 Vietnamese visitors attended this event to introduce and promote their products and services.
