The Third International Puppetry Festival – Hanoi 2012

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision No 3362/QĐ-BVHTTDL on the organisating “the Third International Puppetry Festival – Hanoi 2012” next September.

The Festival is jointly organised by the Department of Performing Arts, the International Cooperation Department, the Department of Planning and Finance, under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Stage Artists Association and the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Festival will be a rendezvous for Vietnamese and international puppeteers to exchange and share experiences and an opportunity to popularise Vietnamese puppetry to international friends and strengthen the art and culture cooperation between Vietnam and other countries.

International tourist is very interested in puppetry so Vietnam travel agency can make more tours for them to take part in this festival.

Moreover, the Festival will help Vietnamese art managers and puppeteers acquire special values of puppetry in different countries and promote international exchanges.
