Da Nang spotlights tourism potential
The centre to promote tourism in the central city of Da Nang held an event to promote its potential for tourism in Ho Chi Minh City on Feb. 24, which attracted almost 250,000 visitors.
Da Nang will also host an international firework competition and the launching of Fantasy Park , the largest indoor entertainments centre in Southeast Asian as well as the opening of the Phuoc Nhon warm mineral spring.
The city has roughly 60 tourist destinations and welcomes 2.3 million tourists each year.
Da Nang has an advantage for developing tourism, especially its coastal facilities, as it is blessed with My Khe beach, one of the six most beautiful beaches in the world and possesses several resorts to international standards and 300 hotels.
The promotion of Da Nang ’s image is an excellent opportunity for travel agents and holiday-makers to get more information about tourism in the largest city in central Vietnam.
