To advertise interest, learning and creativity in technology and technology, through imaginative as well as enjoyable experience and contribute to the actual nation’s development of its human being resource.

Since 1977, the Science Centre Singapore may be pushing at the boundaries of non-formal technology education and promotion in Singapore.

The Centre takes an integrative strategy in promoting science and technology to the general public and to students. 15 000 m2 really worth of interactive exhibits illustrate the actual principles and impact of technology and technology, and promote breakthrough and self-learning through play. Hands-on enrichment programmes touch base to over a hundred thousand school students each year.

The Centre also publishes technology magazines and natural history guidebooks dedicated to local plants and creatures. The ‘Singapore Scientist’ magazine has got the largest circulation of all subscription-based technology magazines in Singapore. In modern times, the Centre is increasing it's focus on its Science Marketing and Outreach effort, which brings science into departmental stores and onto television screens. The actual Centre also hosts a 276 seater-Omnitheatre.
