Mandai Orchid Gardens in Singapore
Singapore's biggest commercial orchid garden. It's worth a call for the colourful displays and also the method and manner of farming. The 4-hectare Gardens features an entire hillside covered with flowering orchids in the actual open sunshine, including Singapore's nationwide flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim. There's also a landscaped Water Garden at the actual valley with many plants of organic interest.
Located conveniently next to the actual Zoo and Night Safari, visitors will even find orchid flowers and choice gifts at the Gift Shop to collect. The "Orchid Gift Box Service" may deliver orchids to any address in the planet.
