A workshop on environmental responsibility intended to tourist accommodations was jointly organized by Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Tourism Administration, Hotel Department, Vietnam Hotel Association and Meet-Bis project, EU project in Vietnam on Mar. 21, in Ha Long city.The workshop is one of the activities under the agreement on cooperation and supporting responsible tourism development in Ha Long Bay of Environment – Society- Responsible Tourism (ESRT) project signed by Quang Ninh and the EU project on Oct. 18, 2012.At the workshop, attendants have listened to the presentation by the experts from the Meet-Bis and EU project in Vietnam about potentials and solutions to the effectiveness of using energy and water for hotels as well as tourist boats.During the workshop, representatives of the Quang Ninh provincial department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and tourist experts have answered a number of questions regarding environmental responsibility intended to tourist accommodation.
