Attractive tourist in Sapa
Temperatures in the northern mountainous tourism hotspot of Sa Pa yesterday fell to 1.6 Celsius degrees and the region is expected to have fogs and frosts, said Luu Minh Hai, deputy director of the local forecasting center.
In Lao Cai City, the temperature on Sunday is 12.8 C degrees and in the mountainous area of Bac Ha it is 7.6 degrees.
This is by far the largest drop in temperatures since winter this year in Lao Cai Province -- home to Sa Pa.
There were also thick fogs in the morning.
White frosts could be expected for mountainous areas in Lao Cai Province and freezing weather predicted for Sa Pa, Y Ty, Lung Phinh… in the next few days. The Vietnam travel companies are using this point to attract tourists.
