Pak Kret

Pak Kret is a district of Nonthaburi, a border province of Bangkok. There's a beautiful scene of The Chao Phraya River pass through central of the district, travelling across the river by boat over Pak Kret Pier is a daily activity of locals here.

Pakkret is now catching up, conflicts of interest between the owners of shop houses in the market and local vendors are being resolved, and all involved came together recently for a big communal clean-up of the old market area. Through capacity building workshops and a visit to Phuket, where the old town of Phuket was successfully revitalised, the task force received further inspiration on how to shape their new market and make the area attractive for tourists. It’s time for the actual building work to begin

You will never miss to try tasty local food in Ko Kret, very unique and not often to be found anywhere else, also a chance to try many kind of thai sweet dessert.

From a number of food stalls by sidewalk to local restaurants most run by local. There's also some nice local restaurant with great view of the river.

Along walkway in Ko Kret islet around 2 km, there are plenty of stalls / shops along. There are many kind of goods, food, souvenir or even things for daily use.
