Night 1 Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai (Sapa)

Upon arriving at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our MinMax team members and brought to your hotel in a private car. As arrival times vary and international travel can be quite exhausting, we leave the remainder of the day open. Your first night is spent in Hanoi city.
Day 1 Lao Cai - Sapa – 2,800m of Altitude (B,L,D)

You will arrive in Lao Cai around 5:30 AM, where our MinMax driver will pick you up for the private (one hour) transfer to Sapa. During the ride, you will catch some glimpses of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces that make this hill town so stunning.
Upon arrival in Sapa Town, you will have breakfast at local restaurant and have some short time to relax. Our driver will then bring you to the Silver Waterfall and the Tram Ton pass: the highest pass in Vietnam. This is where you will begin your strenuous climb to the top. You will trek for 8 hours through primitive forest, surrounded by small streams and bamboo forests, finally reaching the end at 2,800 meters.
Here you will be assisted in pitching tents and preparing for dinner. This 1st night is unforgettable for the travelers, guide and porters, as everyone sits together beside a roaring fire to enjoy a tasty meal and share in the once in a lifetime experience.
Day 2 2,800m - Fansipan peak - Sapa - Night train back to Hanoi (B,L,D)

After breakfast, you will start the remaining hard climb to the top of the summit. Upon reaching the high peak, take your time to enjoy yourself, take pictures and enjoy a lunch before descending down (the same way or a different route) to the foot of the mountain. From here you will take a car back to Sapa.
Arriving around 6:00 pm, you will be transferred by private car to the Lao Cai train station, boarding the night train back to Hanoi. (Overnight on train.)
Day 3 Hanoi Arrival

You will arrive at Hanoi’s train station around 5AM. Our MinMax driver will pick you up at the station and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel in Hanoi.
