Overview of the Ginger Halong

While all those who visit Halong Bay are charmed by the archipelago’s beauty, few visitors are aware that the three-thousand islands that dot this bay are home to many rare plants, including species found nowhere else in the world. We chose our boat’s name-Halong Ginger- because, like the plant it was named after, our junk is perfectly suited to this environment. Day 1: Hanoi- Halong
- 12h30: Welcome on board of Halong Ginger and set sail through bay while lunch is serverd. Please into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant. If weather permits a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night.

Day 2: Halong- Hanoi

Halong Bay on Ginger Junk

- 6h30: Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay.

- 7h30: Breakfast

- After breakfast, a short trek to a nearby summit.

- 9h30: Return on board for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.

Day 1: Hanoi- Halong

Day 2: Halong Discovery
After breakfast, transfer to your day – trip boat with private crew and cruise to the bay’s most untoached area. Enjoy swimming on quite beaches, visiting water tunnels, fishing villages or kayaking. Lunch served on board by your private chef. Return to the mother boat for the night.

Day 3: Halong- Hanoi
